VITAP AWEN Edgebander
The VITAP Awen is a compact, Single Sided Edgebander, developed for reliable performance and high-quality edging for straight, concave and convex pieces. The working units allow for flexibility in the application of different types of edgebanding of various sizes and at variable angles 45° - 90°. This compact powerhouse makes complicated projects simple.
STANDARD EQUIPMENT:
- For straight or curved panels
- For panels of 10 – 60 mm thick
- Tilting table for angled edges
- Two glue spreading rollers
- Apply banding up to 3mm thick and wood strips up to 5mm thick
- Encoder for precision guillotine cutting
- Banding measured by digital electronic counter
- Foot Pedal for single part banding and edge measuring
- Micro switch for guillotine activation for straight parts
- Adjustable feed speed
- Solid phenolic work table 30mm thick
- Plastic button inserts to raise panel above table
- Manual / Automatic band cutting device
- Glue pot with digital temperature adjustment and stand by mode
